Sentinel Contractor — Beginner: Build clear contractor records

Build clear contractor records

Build clear contractor records with Sentinel Contractor. Self-paced beginner training with screenshots, practical exercises and a final assessment.

Who is this course for?

New users and people preparing contractor information.

Before you begin

Start with Beginner if you are new to the module. For Intermediate and Advanced, complete the preceding level or bring equivalent experience. Each is a separate course.

Your learning journey

• Contractor Beginner 1: Find your workspace and define the review — 35 minutes.
• Contractor Beginner 2: Record evidence that supports a decision — 35 minutes.
• Contractor Beginner 3: Prepare a handover and recognise qualification requirements — 35 minutes.

Practice and assessment

Allow approximately 125 minutes. Complete three lessons in sequence, with practical scenarios and worked answers, followed by ten single-choice questions. Each question is worth one point; seven correct answers meet the 70% pass mark. Read feedback and revisit gaps before retrying. Course achievement is separate from workplace competence and operational authorisation.

Access and support

Enrolment is allocated by the Academy administrator under the existing Sentinel arrangements. Contact the Academy about access. Notebook practice needs no Sentinel subscription; software practice needs authorised access.

Which qualifications are required?

The responsible people establish requirements for the actual work. CSCS and well-control examples show how multiple requirements are recorded; this course awards neither qualification and prescribes no universal combination.
