A new look. A clearer journey. More ways to turn learning into action.
You may be choosing your first safety course, returning to finish a lesson or organising training for a whole team. Whatever brings you here, finding your next step should feel straightforward.
Welcome to the new Safetyman Academy. We have rebuilt the website around the people who use it, with clearer routes to courses, practical learning pathways and dedicated spaces for individual learners and organisations.

Find the training that matters to you
A busy working day leaves little time for searching through pages of information. Our course library brings keyword search, subject filters and sorting together, helping you narrow your options and open the course details that matter.
Start with a topic you need to understand, or explore an area relevant to your work. Courses such as A Comprehensive Guide to Hazard Identification and Controls, Accident Investigation and Abrasive Wheels Safety Training give you specific places to begin. Check each course page for its content, price, assessment and access arrangements before enrolling.

Not sure where to begin? Follow a learning pathway
You do not need to arrive knowing the name of a course. Our learning pathway finder starts with your area of work and what you would like to learn. It helps you explore relevant options, whether you are developing your own knowledge or thinking about the needs of your team.
It is a useful starting point for a conversation: what does the role involve, where are the knowledge gaps, and what would help someone take the next step with greater confidence?
Less searching when you return
Once enrolled, My learning gives you a place to find your available courses and recorded progress. Where a certificate is available and the course requirements have been met, you can follow its download link from your learning workspace.
The new navigation also brings together learning options, resources and help. If you need a hand choosing a course or finding your way back into your learning, the Academy contact page gives you a direct route to us.
A clearer view for the people leading teams
Training decisions become easier when you can see what has been assigned and what still needs attention. The Academy’s team workspace gives authorised group leaders a view of their assigned groups, course progress and completion records, with reports they can export.
For organisations, this provides a starting point for more focused conversations about development. Visit Safetyman Academy for business to discuss your roles, locations and training priorities.
From learning to application: where Safetyman Sentinel fits
Knowledge has its greatest value when people use it thoughtfully at work. This is where the Academy and Safetyman Sentinel complement one another.
The Academy provides learning. Sentinel provides tools for connected safety and risk management, including incident reporting, investigation, bowtie risk assessment, observations and assurance. Its Competence tools support recording task requirements, training and practical assessment evidence, and scoped authorisations.
Consider a team reviewing a near miss. Hazard identification learning can support the questions people bring to the discussion. Accident investigation training can help develop their understanding of how an event is examined. Sentinel provides a structured place to record the event, consider evidence, track actions and review the response.
These are complementary activities, rather than a promise of automatic transfer between the two websites. Course completion is one part of a wider picture: workplace instruction, practical assessment and appropriate authorisation still matter.
You can explore Sentinel’s public demonstration without signing up. It uses fictional, read-only records to show how the different stages connect.
Your next step starts here
Take a look around. Find a subject you want to understand better, explore a pathway or talk to us about your team. The new Academy is here to make those first steps easier—and to help you keep moving forward.
