Three practical lessons, exercises and worked answers. Allow approximately 60–90 minutes including assessment, divided into short sessions to suit you. No trainer is required.

Before you begin

Complete Assure Intermediate or have equivalent experience in verification planning, evidence review and action governance.

Your learning journey

1. Build a proportionate assurance programme — Prioritise control questions and expose dependencies and gaps across the programme.
2. Challenge indicators, independence and uncertainty — Interpret assurance measures without confusing activity, outcomes and risk reduction.
3. Make and maintain a defensible assurance decision — Present claims, evidence, limits and required decisions across the connected suite.

Practice and assessment

Use a notebook or authorised fictional workspace. The linked demonstration is read only. The separate final test contains ten single-choice questions worth one point each. Seven correct answers achieve the 70% pass mark. Complete the required lessons and assessment to earn the Sentinel course certificate.

Access and scope

Enrolment is allocated by the Academy administrator. A software subscription is not needed to read the demonstration or complete notebook exercises. Editing live Sentinel records requires the appropriate account, permissions and workplace authority. Controls and menu labels may vary by deployment. This course records learning; it does not establish technical competence, regulatory approval or authority to accept operational risk.
